Delaware Hospital Guide is sponsored by the Delaware Healthcare Association. The site was created to provide basic service and quality information on Delaware's acute care hospitals and to promote consumer/hospital interaction.

Recognizing the growing consumer interest in such information, this project was commissioned by the Association in May, 2008 to provide a convenient and reliable source.  The Association contracted with American Hospital Directory (ahd.com) to accomplish the task. Delaware Hospital Guide is a work-in-progress and will evolve over time to continually address the interests of Delaware's citizens.
